About Coos County Court Records

Court and public records in Coos County, Oregon are split across the Coos County Circuit Court, the Coos County Clerk, municipal courts, the Sheriff's Office, OJD statewide tools, and a few state agencies. This site organizes those record paths so users can tell whether a case file, marriage license, recorded county document, traffic citation, jail record, or probate matter belongs with the correct office.

Why We Built This Site

Oregon provides several public access routes, but Coos County records do not all live in one place. The Coos County Circuit Court in Coquille keeps state trial court files for civil, criminal, traffic, probate, juvenile, small claims, eviction, divorce, and family matters. The Coos County Clerk, also at 250 N Baxter St, handles county recording, marriage licenses, elections, archived county records, domestic partnerships, Property Value Appeals Board filings, and related county services. The Sheriff's Office and jail handle custody, booking, and law enforcement record questions. Municipal courts, such as Bandon Municipal Court, may hold city citations and ordinance cases.

What You Will Find Here

What We Cannot Do

This is a privately run reference site. It is not part of the Oregon Judicial Department, Coos County government, Coos County Circuit Court, the Coos County Clerk, the Sheriff's Office, any municipal court, or any federal court. There are real limits to what a private reference site can do:

  • We cannot file court papers, OJD records requests, marriage applications, or county recording documents
  • We cannot issue certified copies of court records, marriage records, recorded documents, or vital records
  • We cannot give legal advice, interpret a specific case outcome, or predict what a judge or clerk will do
  • We cannot guarantee that every Oregon fee, office hour, phone number, portal link, or court process remains current

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal or electronic certification.

Search Partners

Some pages include search boxes powered by third-party providers. Those companies set their own pricing and operate their own services. When a search tool leads to a paid signup, this site may earn a referral fee. That revenue helps keep the public reference pages available. Third-party search partners do not replace official Oregon court records, OJD portals, Coos County Clerk records, sheriff records, DMV records, or certified documents from the office that holds the original file.
