Coos County Court Clerk Role

OJD states that the official record is located at the court site where the case was filed.

Federal Court Clerk Limits
Some Coos County residents also need federal records. The U.S. District Court for the District of Oregon is separate from Coos County Circuit Court, and no federal courthouse was identified in Coos County.

Coos County Court Access Laws
Oregon public access has more than one legal source. ORS chapter 192 governs public-body records generally. ORS chapter 7 addresses records and files of Oregon courts. Restricted records need care. ORS 137.225 allows eligible adult arrests, citations, charges, and convictions to be set aside by court order.
